"An attempt to hold the voting with such a poor participation of the People´s Deputies of Ukraine is a demonstration of disrespect for The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, parliamentarism and the law", - stated Olexandr Lavrynovych, First Vice-Chairman of The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine.
He believes that "violations started with illegitimate interruption of consideration of the issue concerning alteration of the voting method of The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine regarding allowance of the appeal of Arseniy Yatseniuk, Chairman of The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, on his resignation".
Moreover, the First Vice-Chairman stressed that regardless of the requirements of the Law on Committees and Commissions of The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine and the Standing Orders of The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, "some members of the Returning Board declared that they passed a resolution, and the Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada made reference to lack of definition of the quorum in the Standing Orders for adoption of resolutions by the Returning Board, and forgot that the work of all Commissions and Committees of The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine is regulated by the Law on Committees and Commissions of The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine".
